In the manual it says to only hook up positive to positive and negative to negative if the battery is out of the car. Otherwise, it says you need to ground one of the wires to the frame of the car - Is the C5 neg. grounded like most cars or positively grounded. I looked to see if I had anything coming off my battery but I didn't see anything.
Anyone have experiences with CTEK 300?
Also, they give you the wire where you can install it directly to the battery. How do you wire that up?
With my normal charger, I just hook up positive to positive and negative to negative and I'm good to go.

Thanks.
Pull the battery surround and hook the ground to the frame. There is a factory ground there.
