Default Bra for freeway driving

I am picking up my new C6 black coupe on April 22 and driving back to Anaheim CA. Lots of interstate driving. I have owned 3 C3's and have had issues with rock chips for trucks. Has anyone any experience with the bar sold by www.southerncarparts.com/? It sure look good in the pictures but I see that you have to remove the stock clips from the fenders to install "u" clips. I am also concerned about glazing the paint when the material touches the fnders. Any comments would be welcomed!

Default Bra for freeway driving

I'll have to pass, if I have a choice and dont very often I would rather see those puppies let loose instead of in a bra. Thats just a little quirk of mine I guess. It can be the freeway or country road oh yea thats the only time I like a rough road.

I have a stretch nylon mask with the u clips and the side mirror masks as well. Worked great, did hurt the paint driving 600 miles, Dallas to Nashville.

I'd just like to get this straight; you said it worked great AND it did hurt the paint. Did it harm the paint????

I also have one of those nylon mask but haven't put it on. Waiting for a trip from San Diego to Vegas or somewhere before I do. However, if it's going to rub the paint does anyone want it for cheap?

Put a clear bra on it before you head back.
