Default help with tail light bulbs...

One of my bulbs went out. It turns on when i hit the brakes, and when I put on my blinkers...but under normal driving with the headlights on, it stays off

it's the far left tail light

simple fix that I can do or what? Can't find anything online

Hi pb24dagrk -

That is a two-filament bulb (I want to say an 1157 but I am not 100% on that). The "constant burn" filament is burned out I would guess.

You'll need a t-15 torx to remove the two bolts holding in the taillight housing.

The bulb just twists out and you remove the connector.

best regards -

You can get them at your local auto-parts store for about $3 a pair. Replace both sides as the always go out in pairs.

OK, thanks for the help. I'll stop by later this week.

Just curious, how come the brake light and turn signal works, but the lamp doesn't light up otherwise?

As he said, the bulb has two filaments, one filament is burned out, the other is fine. Blinkers are covered by a seperate bulb.
