275/40/18's?
Think these would work?
plan on running 18's all the way around, and would like some input on whether or not that 40 sidewall rating might be to much. let me know!

The stock size sidewall is a 35 on the 18's so I don't think I'd go taller.

right, but sidewall is rated at percentage...
35% on a 295 vs 40% on a 275. might be similar.

Are you thinking about running these on the front or rear? Either way - I wouldn't do it. I run 275/35/18 F and 295/35/18 R - works perfect for me

A 275/40/18 tire is way too tall for the front. And it is 20mm narrower (and ~.6 taller) than the stock rear tires.
In order for the AH, TC and ABS to function properly, the rear tires need to be ~1" taller than the front tires.

265/35/18 on a 18x9.5 is the same size as the stock 265/40/17 on the stock rims 17x9.5 see if that works. (Michelin PS2)
