Default Service Column Lock
My C5 Corvette is currently at a GM dealer and my CLB will be arriving tomorrow. (dealer is paying for service)

I contacted Corvettes of Houston and they told me that the Column Lock Plate DOES NOT need to be removed, that the CLB will bypass the system and the column will not beable to lock. Is this true or should I have the dealer remove the Column Lock Plate while it is being serviced.

Any comments would be greatly appretiated.

This is true, why would a vendor lie when they sold 1000's of these CLB's?

I got my CLB from COH too. They would not lie to you. I would go with what they say. They're a great forum vendor
