I am looking (need) to replace all 4 tires on my 02 Z. The problem is a very tight budget at the moment. Not my daily driver and I will be putting less then 4000 miles a year the car. I like the look of the F1 Supercars as opposed to some of the rounder sidewall to tread area on other tires. I just don't have the $$$ for them right now. What's out there in a good but less expensive tire. I also want to stick with stock sizes on my chrome repros. Thanks in advance for all the great advice that always comes from this forum.

Reason: Additional info
Check out this site it has the Toyo T1R's along with a lot of good tire prices for your budget!. Just search by Tire size top right hand corner and lets us forum members know which one's you're getting http://www.onlinetires.com/default.a...eData=BuyTires
I've seen a lot of positive comments about Vredestein tires on the forum. They look like decent tires. Toyo, Falken and Kumhos are very good tires that are priced right. Check Tire Rack and Discount Tire's websites as well.
Personally I have GY GS D3s but they weren't cheap but these tires rate extremely well in rain and dry. The Michelin PS2's are about the only other tire I'd drive my Z in bad weather.
Good luck with your search. The right tire can make a big difference in the performance of the Z06
If you absolutly have to have stock sizes, and you're on a budget then the Toyo T1R is a pretty good choice......from what people say so is the vredestien, if you can deal with the tread pattern.
If you don't mind a 275 on the front then I would say definitely go for the GS-D3's
Just picked up set of Toyo T1R. Awesome tire for the $. $764 shippped no tax from Treadepot.com
Sidewalls slightly softer than OEM but they do stick and are QUIET.
This is one of the few choices in OEM size and best bet for the dollar conscious. 275's up front seem too fat to me especially against the 295 rears.
Toyos also have rim guards which are nice. Good luck.

I would have thought Firestone Wide ovals would be the cheapest, $763 shipped from TireRack. By the way my Toyo price included balance, mount, stems, tax, IL EPA fee and discard fee. A week later I added a 4 wheel alignment to bring my total to 1K even. I knew up front this tire replacement wasn't going to be cheap but Supercar's would have been nearly 1.7K and now I see they are on back order at TR. Sounds like Vredestein, Toyo or Firestone are the most budget conscious choices.
I like the FIrestone Wide ovals, they do well at very high speeds, as well as have that little edge on the side that gives a bit more protection to the rim of your tire from curbs and such. Some don't like that the tire doesn't have as wide an appearance from the back, but I haven't really noticed any big traction difference. Another bonus is they wear much better than the original GYSC's.
