Removing License Plate

Hey guys. Just got pulled over in California, and got a ticket for not having a license plate on the front. How do I safely remove the front license plate cover?

There are two screws that hold it in place. Look closely between the actual bumper and the plate filler piece, and you will find two screws.

Look under bottom of cover two screws take em out cover will just about fall off.

Or buy one of the hide-away license plate brackets that flip down under the bumper. There are at least a couple of vendors on the forum, and one was discussing having a remote-controlled model. I think I might be interested, if that became available.

Then you might want to buy a painted license plate surround to help with the looks of having to run a front plate.
