I tried a search but didnt come up with anything promising.
Two questions:
1. My FRC is uneven in the rear by a 1/2 inch. I have checked all the stock lowering bolts and they are equal. My driver side rear is 28" from the ground to fender and my passenger side is 27.5". I have checked it on several different flat pavements, all with the same result. Any idea's what it might be? I do have 19" wheels out back with Bilstein shocks, dont know if that matters. I want to lower the car more but more importantly I want it to be even.
2. The stock bolts are maxxed out as far as lowering goes. Any idea why the car just isnt lowering any?
Front heights are 27" from ground to fender on both sides.
Rear heights are 28" on driver's rear, 27.5 on passenger rear.
To my understanding these measurements are close to stock ride height, but I have the bolts set to be lowered the max. Any idea's?
Thanks
Jon
I can"t answere the reason why your car has un-equal heights but I can say that mine had a 1/4" difference in the rear but could not be noticed. Mine started out with 27" in the front and 28 3/8" in the rear. After lowering both the front and rear as far as I could go with stock bolts I was only a 1/2" lower in the front and rear. Some people get more than that. I removed the front bolts and installed 8" x 9/16" (grade #8) bolts in rear and now I am at 25 1/2" in the front and 26 1/2" in rear. The look is perfect now. I do not think as was stated earlier that shocks change the ride height unless they are coilovers. I changed to Bilstein Sports and the height was unaffected however the handling and ride was greatly improved.

I measured the rear leaf last night, and I found it to be about 2/16th of an inch shifted towards the drivers side. It makes sence since my drivers side always has sat lower than the passenger side by about 1/4". Its also hard to find a good reference point to measure to. There are rubber pieces glued to the leaf and they are form fitted to the 2x clamps mounted to the cross member inder the car. I did not try to move it for only 2/16". I also don't know if 2/16" could cause the 1/4" difference in the rear I was seeing (pass rear higher 1/4" than drivers rear). I assume the front is the same. I'm just going to run with it the way it is. I got the rear level with the longer bolts, and the front pass is just about 1/8" higher than the front drivers... It's just about time for an amignment for me now that I got it the best I can.
