Important not to get too concerned about dyno numbers as there is always someone faster with deeper pockets.

Most important thing is that youre happy with it and it meets your expectations.

But, see my sig

'04 Z, 365/358 completely stock when new.

I've since installed a Vararam, and this spring might go for some headers, after which I'll have it tested for measured improvement.

Wow!
That's the highest "stock" number I've heard so far.
No tune?

LOL thats true there will always someone faster no matter what its what suits you. I used to think my friend that has 432rwhp was fast until his dad got him a c5z and he has 523rwhp. But hearing those numbers now im not in awe like i used to be theyre still respectable numbers being that u dont come across 1000rw everyday. There is a guy at this car show that i go to he has over 900 to the wheels on his c6z. Even then i thought i heard something until i saw this street legal tt viper with 1700 rwhp. But if you cant control the power its no use. I just wanna hear what people are pushing.

there's quite a few others ('04's) with that figure posted on the forum, so it's not that unusual.

dyno was done when car was completely stock, taken not long after i got the car new. if i can figure out how to scan and post the results, i will.

it was done at a&a out in california, which i believe is a dyno jet. they're very reputable, not known for inflated #s. in fact, they tend to run conservatively. if i remember, we ran it twice to confirm the figures.

hp/tq dyno figures, while an interesting datapoint, are not really much of a concern to me. i'm more interested in drivability once the car gets going, and the sound. to that end, i had a vararam and a tune done. love it. next step is likely going to be headers. then maybe gears....and....and....

True. I think mine was reasonable, based on where I went and who did the work. But, even with a +/- 5-10 hp or so variance, I don't care.

Most '04's are putting out similar figures from what I've read on this forum, so mine isn't out of the ordinary.

Keep in mind different dyno's (mustang, dynopack, dynojet, etc) and that a lot of people post actual not SAE corrected numbers trying to inflate their results. It's hard to get a good comparison unless you run on the same dyno on the same day and have SAE corrected results.

That being said with LT headers, cats, x-pipe, honker and tune I am making 380/372 at the rears SAE corrected...

im not trying to flame you man, but im trying to see where the hell you are coming from... you have made 6 different threads on this same freaking topic. is that not good enough for you?

you tried to tell me that 325rwhp was the "norm" for 01z's, which is just stupid... now you are back at it again? sorry dude, just trying to figure what your motive is. it certainly isnt to find out how much a stock Z puts down, because you have already done that.
