negative camber revisited
After thinking about that for a couple of days, I called the shop today and had the discussion with the tech I should have had two days ago. Seems the tow in/out was off and that, combined with the neg camber called for in the factory settings, was what caused the inside tire wear. It was the combination of the two angles, one of which was wrong, that caused the wear. Tow was corrected and problem is solved.
I didn't want to leave the impression that neg camber by itself causes any problems. It doesn't.
