Z06 Emergency Kit needed
I'm missing the Roadside Emergency Kit (complete fix-a-flat kit) from my 2001 Z06. GM wants a fortune for a new one. Anyone have a spare? Can't imagine why you would, but it pays to ask!

Unless you need the GM unit for collectibility reasons, I would go with an aftermarket setup. There are lots different options around for the liquid sealant and much better compressors to be found. Just check your local auto parts store.

Speaking of which, I found a small nail in one of my rear 295's this past weekend - quickly plugged it, in the garage with one of those $5 patch kits, used the pump that came with mine to fill back up to 33 psi - and everything worked fine ... the pump is good enough for me. Although, I dread the day I have to use the "gooo".

Oh sure, I know I could just carry a can of good old fix-a-flat, but I'd like to have the GM issue kit nonetheless. I'll check with the auto recyclers/yards.

For collectablity reasons I carry one of those $5. tire plug kits and an 12 volt air compressor I have had for years. For any flats not repairable by this I have a cell phone. The original emergency kit is stored with the shipping plastic, all labels and tags and the unopened VHS tape...
