I want to thank all of you for putting up with a newbi finding his way in this so much fun CORVETTE WORLD. I read and read and overanalyze and still manage to get stuff done. The latest simply good advise is putting the plugs in the outside muffler pipes.. what a difference. noise/drone is down 60 % in a short drive around the block. This goes to show that this forum works. Maybe there should be a special section for newbies to look at all the upgrades and problem areas about their specific years. Good idea, so why don't I do it. This is a deep and dark road to go on and again thanks for the help.

You didn't plug off half of your exhaust did you?? THAT is a fire waiting to happen... I have a friend that found THAT out the hard way....

Never heard of putting a plug in the pipes. Might want to use an X-pipe instead to help with the drone.
