Lately, once my 2000 FRC warms up, I have been getting some popping coming from the mufflers. I have a bottom breather, headers, and a Bassani exhaust system with X-Pipe.
I have not checked, but it seems when I get into it, I don't have the problem, but low RPMs and when starting off, I get a few pops.

Anyone had this problem, or have any ideas.
thanks,

I'm not an expert on the C5, but often times when you run headers, or no cats you get popping. It can be due to the tune, or because of emissions controls and it can usually be fixed by tweaking your chip.
I guess I will take it into the local Corvette Shop for a checkup. It only started this about 6 months ago and is steadly getting worse, with a hesitation upon low acceleration, but seems to accelerate fine once the RPMs come up.
I am use to the popping on de-acceleration, but not sure what the occassional pop is when I start off, or just idling.
