The rear is Limo, the dot matrix is perfect they actually used a vinyl piece over it that mathes my tint perfectly, really nice job.
The sides are much lighter, you can see thru fairly easily, they just look dark in that pic.
The place i went to is a high end shop in San Diego (syndicate Automotive) they work on Local Celeb cars like Travis Barker and Charger players etc.

... been meaning to get mine 20 all the way around for the last year but i'm still kinda nervous about takin it to a shop.. the guy told me he would try to tin the dot matrix first and if it doesnt come out right he w ould paint the area.. anybody have theirs painted? he said the glue method was just a feakin mess

$140 For the high Performance Tint "Blocks out more Heat and Sun" So they say
Also came with a written life time warranty. I was very happy with the results and price. They place also offers to take off and re-tint the windows after you get a ticket for only $40!
Here is a quick picture I took. I did 20% all the way around.
Sorry it is so dirty we have been having some bad weather. Hoping to get it cleaned up in the next few days if it stops raining.

I was quoted anywhere from $160 to $250 for a tint job. Quite a range there.

My installer painted the Dot Matrix on my Grand Am. It looked great for about the first two years, then the paint slowly began to flake off. I've compared the Grand Am dot matrix to my 02 vette and it feels very similar. I don't know what type of paint they used (maybe there is something out there that adheres to glass better) but I'm not going to do it on the vette. I'd like to find out more information about Blaster903's vinyl solution for the dot matrix.
My installer uses Solar Gard HP Quantum film. It still looks great after 8 years on my truck and after 5 years on the Grand Am. This film just wouldn't cover the dot matrix without air pockets, so I'm looking for other alternatives for the vette.
