Well, I finally went and did it. I found the vert that I was looking for. I got a 2003 Anniv. Edition vert with only 9700 miles on it. It has the 6spd and it is imaculate. I picked it up for $32,500 I think that I am going to be happy with it. I currently have a 2006 GTO with the 6spd with only 3244 miles on it. It is going to go. I am not going to need both of them. Tell me what you guys think. Also, let me know what you think about this one. My Mom just passed away at 60 away this past june. Before she did, we had a talk and she told me that I should not wait for "tomorrow" and I should just have fun every day. With my Dad passing at 43, beleive me, I took my Mom's advice. I got my Vette at 40 years old. But here is what I am going to do. My Mom's middle name was Camille. That is what I am putting on the vanity plate in her memory. I feel that will be a great tribute to her from me. I am going to name the Vert Camille also. I will be riding with her every time I get in it.

Reason: Adding things
But one absolutely great advantage of a vette is this forum, if you have problems or questions then this place can definitely help, and almost everyone shares the passion for the vette. I recently bought did alot of research searched for a long time, got alot of good advice. greatest thing about a vette is the drive. second best thing is having someone else or a place to share the passion.
do some research pull codes on it, I tried to before I bought mine but finally got it to pull my codes after already owning it lucky me no codes came up.
other then that, enjoy and welcome from another new member or at least new owner.

Huricane Camille many years back was a bad one,,,,you can out run one now
Bitchin. Camille will appreciate it and be proud of you.
My Dad said similar words to me the day before he died @66yrs young in a sport bike accident. I had been bitching about a motorcycle that I wasn't particularly happy with and was really frustrated. He said, "Hey, just sell it and get something that floats your boat. Lifes to short to put up with something that pisses you off." Gave him a hug and told him I loved him and to ride safe... Still see him leaving my house, riding around the corner and lookin back with a wave. ugh.
Got to follow your passions. My wife has wanted a corvette since we met in 1984. Last year we decided that ALL the reasons why didn't own a corvette were LAME. So we own a Z06 and damned near every day she drives it (it's her car) she says, I *love* that car!!!
great idea , i'm sure she would love it , my dad told me before he passed away he wished he would have bought me the 70 vette instead of the 70 mustang mach I , he said if you want it , buy it and enjoy it while you can
Enjoy man. I watched my mom pass away at 51 and I told myself I was going to enjoy my time while I'm here. I always said when I turned 40 I was going to by myself a vette, so I took care of that a couple months ago. You only go around once, enjoy it.
