Help - What Part Number Is This ?
Can anyone tell me what the part # is for this plastic external molding/stripping ?
It is the outter black molding 1 piece that runs along the window frame on thru the sides of the windshield.
Note: Not The Internal Weather stripping

Let me guess, yours is cracked vertically. They all do eventually... the dealer will have the part number and it's cheap as well. Here's the rub, replacing it is probably going to cause a leak - assuming you didn't have one to start with - unless the person who does it is VERY careful to make sure they have a good seal. Do a search and you'll find plenty of info on the leak situation, and perhaps the part number as well if you really want to know it before you call the dealer.

You guessed it....The passengers side is also leaking but the driver's side isnt as bad though, hardly gets damp at all.
Well its good to hear that its not that expensive I just wanted to know the part # so that maybe I could order it online from www.GMPartshouse.com

Is there any additional hardware needed when replacing these moldings?
dealership is telling me that I need plastic retainers that are supposedly gonna cost me $80 each
