Painted calipers

I'm thinking of painting my calipers in black, its on a red convertible with black top, I thought about red ones but I think it might be too much red, If anyone has black (and possibly on a red) would you post a pic,,,, Thanks in advance..

Either black or red will go well with your car. I don't think red will be too much though.

Black will tend to make them "go away" and the red will make them POP. I would vote red, not too much color for the car.

Black, as requested, but on a black car.
The silver CORVETTE logo was made to look like that by just buffing the paint off with a dremel and media wheel.

I painted the whole thing black and then took a fine detail paint brush and did the letters. If you want to leave them the aluminum just sand the paint off the letters. They are raised so it should not be hard to sand off.
