I have a compressor and paint gun for big jobs but last week I decided to paint my fuel rail covers, and various other small items under the hood. It is hard to find the correct color in duplicolor spray paint so I have found this to work well. You can purchase virtually any color in touch up paint at most automotive stores. Pick the color you need in the touch up paint section( the kind with the small brush built into the lid) I found a product at Ace hardware called Preval sprayer. These are a pre filled air unit with syphon stick and a glass screw on jar. Fill the jar with any color paint, screw on the power unit and it works like a spray can. They work well with automotive paint and lays down very well. I was able to do all the parts in the pic with 3 cans at a cost of $3.99 for each power unit can and the whole start up kit is around $5.00. I put down about 7 coats of paint. Just something that has came in handy on many small jobs when you dont want the mess or trouble of getting out the compressor.

I have ordered a couple of 5 oz spray cans from my local GM dealer on two different occasions now. LMB, it took 3 days to get, and a perfect match.
At $8-$9/can it's tough to beat.
