Thanks for all the nice words folks, and again, a big thanks to bucknutt76 (Chadd) for going over & test driving car for me. I hope I can keep this one nice for a looonnnngg time. So far I love it. And I'll be at the Pavillion's on 1st Sat in April, with my old plate on car "CMYC5GO". And if any of you folks get over to the east side of town, come by K-Mart on Hampton at Power Rd & the 60 freeway on Sat from 4 till 8PM. Last weekend there were probably 300 different cars during the evening.
As for the incident w/TR coupe, go over to the Off Topic section and query "road rage", it'll bring up pics of the aftermath & explain what that looney did to me. I ended up going backwards & sideways across 2 lanes of NB traffic, thru a median w/steel cables between steel posts & then across 3 lanes of Sunday afternoon SB traffic & ended up on an onramp to the hiway. Not a scratch, the perp stopped, saw me crawl out of the car & took off. Not a soul hit me other than the moron.
Nice new vette...my careless reading lead mo to believe the first pic was a before and and the rest were after :o I thought you paid $17700 for a rebuilt write off Obviously I was wrong.
Enjoy the new one and good luck keeping the nut-jobs away
