I just bought a C6 with 14K miles and I don't have payments. I don't see how that has anything to do with anything. Let's say you can get $22K for your C5 and you find a nice C6 for $30. That's only putting an extra $8K down. That's nothing for the difference in these cars. You can mod the C5 all you want but it will never be as refined as the C6. I've had both cars.

This is something I dont understand. For the price difference of C6s compared to C5s. You could buy a C5, build it up, like you say supercharge it, and kill just about everything on the road. The C6z is at 505 crank hp. So the supercharged C5 has that beat, not to mention the difference in powerband from the positive displacement pump feeding her air. You still have less money in it than the C6.

I also, plan on getting a C6 Z06 sometime in the future, but I wil be keeping my C5....
