First road trip 2008
After a long winter, going on first road trip. Bad news rain in forecast, but Corvette got it's name from a boat, and I think it will not melt, decided to go. I have about 25 hours detailing on car and it looks good. The worst thing , I have to clean it up again. Well the rain gods were good and no rain.(Only weather people can be wrong, all of the time, and keep their jobs.) Only saw 6 Corvettes the whole trip, but 5 different generations, C2- C6. Got passed by a C-5 on way back and followed for 10 miles, before pulling in rest area.
To the people up in winter area, it is not far away. The good thing about Illinois in March, no bugs! Had a great time getting used to my Corvette again.
