[Z06] ZO6 in Roundel?

ZO6 in Roundel?
I just got my Roundel yesterday, the BMWCCA monthly magazine. They had an article comparing the new M3 to the Mercedes C32 and had a short inserted article on the Z06. Very complimentary and a very impartial move by a BMW club magazine. Actually, Roundel usually bends over backwards to be nuetral and actually rated the Miata above the Z3 in terms of driving enjoyment.
Basically, they concluded the Z06 was the best bang for the buck and only complained about the interior. Although they said it doesn't bother you when you drop it to second and nail it. They also mentioned they anticipate many being used primarily as track cars.

Thanks for the post. I would like to see that article. Is that mag available at a newstand? The name sounds familiar and I think I saw it at a Border's book store last month.

It is hardly worth buying the magazine. It is about 1/3 of a page with a picture inserted. However, if you could stomach it, Roundel is a great magazine and you get it monthly for the $35/year membership to BMWCCA. You may be able to order it off the BMWCCA website (I think it is http://www.bmwcca.org). If not a search should find it.
The testers in Roundel are car guys and most club race BMW's. Any car guy should appreciate the Z06. If they don't, they aren't really car guys are they (apologize to any Z06 women lurking here).

Being that we own 2 BMWs, I get over to the M3 board and give them a hard time every so often. Nothing serious. I have to ask them if they have seen the article. A few of them will get silly about it.
