Windshield Shade Modification!!!

Windshield Shade Modification!!! *PICS*
Yeah yeah I know not interesting but I have a very nice shade and it will NEVER stay up!!!! So I decided to invest 2 minutes to think of how to make it stay up during the day....
Suction Cups is what I came up with... But I had NO idea where to get suction cups to mount to the shade. Well I was at LOWES to get light bulbs and I thought they may have something that would work. Bathroom suction cup hooks caught my eye.
So I buy a $2 set and proceed in breaking the hook and hard plastic shell off the suction cups. The suction cups have a nice plastic post sticking out the rear it poke through the shade too!! I mounted them up and anchored them in with a twistie tie!!!
NO MORE FALLING SHADE!!!! Pretty much AWESOME!!
Oh yeah suction cups stick to Corvettes when you place them on the paint like the below picture... ask me how I know...............

Why did you not just put the shade in and then flip the sunvisors down to hold it in place? I have basically the same shade and that sure works for me.

Yeah I thought about it but I really don't like touching my visors... I guess it always in the back of my brain that they will get dirty or wear out... I had a 96 Camaro that had to have the visors replaced because people before me grabbed them to much. I am just A-D-D..

We went over this I think... I really don't like touching the sunvisors and it doesn't work very well even when I tried it, so suction cup modd wins!!
Is the sunvisors mounted different in the Coupes? I tried the Visor thing a week ago and it didn't work very well for me...
