Please post pics of your custom 6 SPD *****!
I am a tool maker (machinist) and I run CNC equipment. I have made several shift ***** for different people out of billet aluminum, and put various designs in them. I Just bought my '99 coupe about 2 weeks ago, and it was love at first sight
. I want to finally make my own ****, and it will probably be similar to the OEM unit, but with a neat emblem, design or saying. I thought about maybe the regular grid but in the place of 6th gear I would put something like "MACH" or GO BABY" or "HANG ON", or the one I'm leaning towards the most- "SEE YA"...I just can't seem to come up with anything cool...it doesn't have to be the grid pattern either! Here is a pic of the car, with the custom hood maybe to give you guys an Idea to help me out of what to put on the ****. Comments and suggestions appreciated! I know some of you guys have em, so lets see some pics!

Hey John, Here is mine from MGW. I just put in the shifter and ball tonight. Man I love this shifter! Best I have ever felt in a vette. But you saw it at my shop today. Good luck with your choice. And did you get the exhaust of your car today?

I see yours too eric, so it really is cool? I haven't gotten my exhaust on yet, it will probably be sunday when I'm off of work. I did pick them up though. good looking stuff!
As far as making these ***** for other vettes, let me make one for mine first guys and I will be able to tell yall more about what it would cost me.

Wow. Those are pretty cool *****. You have a great talent being a machinist. You could also machine something into your new exhaust tips, unless there's something already there.

well I just bought the magnaflow exhaust system, and it has the little bridge piece across the back. I will be making my own, and machining something in to it. Not sure what yet, but I would rather have something unique as opposed to the same ole' advertisement plate everybody else has with this particular cat back..

If you get the exhaust on early give me a call. If i have mine back together, I'll take you for a ride so you can see what a 413c.i. can do
