Default Cold Air Screens --- HELP

Hi, I ordered the cold air screen from WCC. These have the fog light cutouts in them. The directions say to remove the headlight trim and reach in and remove the bolts - that easy.....

Yeah right. Is there any other way to get these things switched out

Thanks,
TonyP.

I jacked the front of the car up and went through the bottom when I put the Z06 screens in. I think I had to remove the air damn though, cant remember. It was five years ago when I did that.

I just put my z06 screens in and pulled my factory fog light blanks out last week. I pulled my center air damn and fan shroud out and you can get to the two bolts in the center fairly easy, the outside bolt is angled upward and is a little tricky to get to but it can be done with a 1/4" ratchet and a 10mm socket. It's fairly easy just a little time consuming. you will need to have the front of your car on ramps.

One way to do the installation is to follow the instructions posted in the Tech Tips under "Tools" and go to "West Coast Corvettes Cold Air Screens Installation".

Another is to remove the radiator shroud and go through there, you can use the instructions from the Vararam website.

Or you can remove the front brake caliper cooling ducts and then remove the wiring harness retainer clips. Once you access the fog light covers then remove the 2 top clips on the stock grill/covers, then the grill/cover screws and remove. Install your open air covers and reassemble. The tech tip instructions will detail the grill/cover and fog light disassembly and reassembly better.
Hope this helps
