Hmmm....that's what I said, too, when I first put on my Blackwing. The Vararam is a good idea but it was built cheaply. They hacked off the stock fog light housing and attached their pieces to it.

$300+ dollars later...

Wished it was designed nicer...

Well I was interested in seeing what intake would be the most popular, I'd say in this thread Vararam probably is but most of the credible intakes are represented. I think I'm looking at openong the fog light areas with screens and using one of the above intakes, eventually I'll decide. I like all of them but I want simple maintenance, and reliable air (DD in all weather) no cels.
