I can't help you with where to place the straps, but being from Hawaii I got to wonder if you "stored" the car during the winter WHY is it stuck in the snow?

If the snow is that deep that you have to pull it out you could damage the front, Use a snow shovel if possible. You don't want to pull it or drag it through the snow.
There is just a bit of hard packed snow/ice that I have to drive over to get out of the building.
Would not damage anything but I could loose traction and a tug would get it over.
Does anyone know where a tow starp can be attached if at all

Hi jdreg -
I had to pull my Z out of a snow bank once (don't ask lol) -
I put the strap around the lower control arm (both legs) on the front, and made sure that I attached the other end low on my truck -
AS long as you aren't going to have to put undue stress on it that should be ok.
I don't recommend having to do this, but sometimes situations just happen.
