I decided to purchase the CRAY SCORPIAN wheels for my 98 C5. I have herd good things about this wheel. If anyony has had a negitive experience PLEASE respond. This is my second time for buying wheels. The first time I went with aftermarket repoductions and it was a nightmare! Thank God the vendor took them back. ......More on that Later.
The wheels I had a problem with were a Brand "TOPLINE" made in China, However there was no name on the wheel or box, just part numbers. They were c5 zo6 repos, the problem was excessive lead weight to balance. I'm talking 5 to 7 inches of lead on each wheel. And the car shook at speeds over 70mph. I hope I'am making the right choice with the Crays.

I can't recall any balancing issues with the cray's.
Good luck.
I have Cray Scorpions in the stock 17 & 18 size and have had no issues with them. They used about the same weight to balance as my stock thin spokes. The only negative comment I've read on this forum is that they are heavy. If you're going to larger 18/19 or 19/20 sizes they probably are heavier than the stock rims but if you stay with a 17/18 combo they're not that much heavier. I'll say this much, they certainly have quieted down my run flats. They are specifically made to fit corvettes as they are hub centric which can't be said for most other aftermarket rims. The other feature is that you can retain your centercap from your original rims. Sorry I don't have a picture of my car to show them off.
I have the 17"/18" Cray Scorpions. I have had them for almost 2 years. Mine have pitted on the left side. My car sits out ,but, is covered. This winter, although we didn't get much snow the wheels pitted. The car was not drived much in the winter. The wheels are nice other then the pitting.
