Me neither. But you are right, exhaust plate will really wake up that void between the tips!

Flowmaster tips....needs a plate...or?
Followed up on another thread where a guy bought a 'Vette with Flowmaster tips like mine. So, got the new tips installed today. They have a flange that makes them much more visible.
The end pipes are so close together that I didn't think other tips might work and fit. These are unique....but already some don't like them. I'm riding the fence...an improvement, but not much bling.
Again, thinking an exhaust plate will help.

I also have the Flows except the round tip ones, I like the aggresive sound. I also have a 50th with the flags on bottom design, exhaust plate, the more expensive one, which looks MUCH better than the cheaper ones. Also SS CORVETTE lettering and you will love your back end. Other drivers will be impressed by it, I think

I was just out looking at them again and actually, they look far better in person than in these pics. They are starting to grow on me. I know a plate will help bunches.

I put a set of them on my car a couple of months ago. The price was right, and they sound pretty good. I like the way they look too. I do have an exhaust plate. Do you like the sound??? There not real aggressive though. A little at an idle and WOT. otherwise there pretty quiet.

Yes, I like the sound a lot. Nice low rumble at idle and screaming banshee at high rpms.
Last week, a co-worker brought his pewter vette out to see mine at my location. I had spotted his in the parking lot at the other garage and he had a Magnaflow system with these four HUGE stainless tips. I figured his was going to sound GREAT!!
Nope....he started it up and it was way disappointing compared to mine. I was very surprised....and pleased. He liked my sound too.
So I don't know if there are differences in some Flowmaster systems, but I like mine.
