My car is for sale and I did not want to let my Hickock wheels get away with the car so I had a set of old wagons powder coated gloss black. Its not that bad in person, they are growing on me fast. I know its not for everyone
Thanks, I have 300 in the purchase and powder. The caps were taken apart and painted in gloss black auto finish. The guy that mounted them did not get one scratch on the set. I am enjoying the looks I get good or bad

I always liked wagons - one thing for sure, you don't hear about cracked spokes or problems. I wonder what they would look like with the vertical edge of the rim done in a gloss red.........

When I bought my 98 two years ago, two of the chrome wagon wheels were cracked but the dealer replaced them both.
You can machine the lip or have it taped off but I did not want to pay the extra. They are on the car to get the sale price down. I thought about a very thin red pinstrip painted right on the lip like some of the older wheels used to have. They hide the brake dust very well and clean up with spray detail.
