Another C4-to-C5 convert here. I have really enjoyed my '99. The LS1 is an awesome powerplant.

The AE red is simply a beautiful color on the C5. Congrats and enjoy the car.

DITTO!!!!!

I loved my 96 Collector Edition LT4, but this Z06 is truly in a class by itself.

Welcome to C5 Gen... I moved up last May after we traded my 84 for my current 02 Vert.... What a different ride compared to the 84. A heck of a lot more fun....

Thanks for the welcome everyone. We had a little taste of top down weather this week. Now I can't for summer. I had a lot of fun in my C4 but the difference in ride quality in the 03 is big, especially with the mag ride in tour mode. It is plush in comparison.

Yup, I moved from an '87, too. But there are a few things that I miss about the C4 generation:
--the steering feel and feedback is much more communicative than that of the C5
--those wonderful seats that fit me perfectly; in fact the C5 seats feel more appropriate to a Caddy than a performance vehicle, even with the "sport seat" option on my C5

Other than that, the C5 is worlds apart!

Great car!

Of course I'm biased. Glad to have you on the C5 side.

Hope you enjoy THE MUCH BETTER RIDE of the AE C5. If it is not that much better, check for yellow cardboard stiffners in your suspension. They were put there for shipping on C5s with the new electronic suspension, but many dealers left them in !

Welcome
