Hi guys, I've got a C6 so don't banish me back the the C6 sections but I've got a ported 92mm FAST and ported TB coming in soon and I've got a friend with a '99 WS6. Which is essentially the LS1 engine and it has a different throttle control which isn't electronic like the LS2 right? Would my LS2 manifold bolt up to his or would there be any extra work, etc. required? And would it be worth it if the price is right as far as HP gains?

Yes, it will bolt up, however he will need LS2 fuel rails and a 90mm TB to work. However, the gains he would see are minimal as the LS6 manifold, which is a direct replacement, outperforms the LS2 manifold.
I do understand what your saying though. Why buy the LS2 manifold + all the parts to make it work when you can just buy the LS6 manifold which is a direct replacement and have the same HP. I would give him a good deal on my LS2 manifold so we'll see which way he wants to go. I guess continuing to ask if anyone did the LS2 swap is pointless cause everyone only swapped it for the LS6.
I'm trying to compare prices of going one way or the other. If we did want to put the LS2 manifold on since he does indeed have the LS1 manifold what parts would be needed? Anyone have links?
