Default whats this part called?

Im trying to find the name for this part so i can find it to buy one. Its the big aluminum piece that supports the sway bar in the front that is directly below the steering pump and the pulleys for the motor. Mine is broke right where the sway bar is connected. What is this part called?

Thanks,
Justin

I would have said cross member, cuz that is where the sway bar mounts. Man! if that is broken, that would haven taken one hell of a wack!

I would suggest that the engine cradle is the part. Very expensive!

Its the front aluminum piece that the lower a'frames and and sway bar is mounted on to. The piece that extends from both sides and is under the engine.

That's your engine cradle!

It is all one piece! Is it possible to have a welder weld up the cracked broken piece?

Aluminum can be welded and it will be much cheaper and easier to have repaired that way than dropping the whole motor!

and that is by looking at the picture you posted as well as my own Vette!

Thanks,Matt
