Default 410 gear question

I had 410 gears installed in my 2001 C5 and now my speedometer will not work in 1st and 2nd gear at any speed. 3rd works on acceleration until I decel then it stops working. 4th gear works until decel under 2000 RPMs and 5th the same. 6th will also drop the spedo under 2000 RPMs.
At 45MPH and above 4th,5th and 6th hold the MPH just fine. 3rd will hold the speedo only if I keep the RPMS above 3000 otherwise the needle looks shakey and drops to zero as soon as I release the gas pedal. Has anybody had this problem ? The shop that installed the swap out does'nt know what the problem is either. Thanks for your help.

Never heard of anything like that before, you might want to get under there and make sure all of the electrical connectors are on good, or take it back to the shop that did it have them take a look at all the connectors. The speedo connector is right on of the diff and the pass. side.

Thanks for the assistance. I took it back to the shop and found out that there are two types of gears that can be used a two series and a three series. The two series will not work well with the speed sensor the three sensor will work properly. I guess the two series is cheaper so the shops will try to use them to save them money so watch out if you have a shop build your differential. Insure you ask the right questions so you do not have to have it done a second time.
