My '99 coupe was supposed to be prepared from the factory with the Z51 package. However, when the car arrived, it did not have any of the Z51 features, which the dealer recognized. The dealer replaced the suspension sway bars, leaving the spare sway bars, leaf springs, and shocks which I have. My recent understanding is that this package also includes a transmission oil cooler. Where might this be located on the car if it was delivered on the car or if the dealer installed it along with the suspension? Is there a code if the tranny oil overheats or can be displayed? Of course I would like to have it
Isn't the power steering cooler standard on all corvettes? If i were to put the tranny cooler on would it be placed somewhere at the rear near the tranny ? I was looking at the GM catalogue for Z51 replacement parts and the tranny cooler was listed. Do appreciate your input> Jack
