[Z06] Valvetrain clatter normal on LS6?

The "clatter" you speak of could be a couple of things, and all things normal with the Z06. It's most likely coming from the clutch area (many say it's the throwout bearing). Push the clutch in and the sound should go away. Or you could just be feeling the natural vibration and movement from the engine. It's more of a raw racing engine and won't be quiet and calm like a luxury car engine of comparable horsepower. Let us know what you find out.

Not sure what you describe as valve train clatter. I relate valve train noise to an old solid lifter engine which was quite noisy. Mine doesn't make any noise that I would consider as close to valve train clatter.
