I couldnt find the thread that was talking about this earlier but today I put some towels and a comforter in the below deck storage area in the trunk of my C5 vert and it makes a big difference in the exhaust and road noise , even my girlfriend whos seems deaf at times said she could tell the difference! Do it you wont be dissapointed!
I have my vert done and it makes a huge difference when you do the entire car. I just did my duramax truck not too long ago using fatmat, about 1/5 the cost of dynamat and the results were just as good if you want my opinion.
there is allot of good reading in the audio section on sound deadeners.
Does the frost king work well in the doors? I will be putting in new speakers in the doors,so i thought i would add some sound deadener.
No, the idea of deadening a door is to weight it down enough to keep it from rattling. The Second Skin, etc products are made for this. The FK should be used basically under all carpeted areas for certain outside frequencies/heat.

Speed
I couldn't agree more. FK (being open cell foam) will not like the damp environment of the door area.

MUCH more effective to use fiberglass batts (in plastic bags) in the three rear compartments. Here is the post:
