I'm not sure it won't fit. I was told a 19 X 11 with the stock offset would fit on the rear of a C5 without any modifications. and a 19 X 10 with a 79 mm offset only figures to be approximately 1/8 closer to the frame. If you go by the math if a 19 X 10 with a 64 mm offset works ok, then a 19 X 10 with a 79 mm offset would need a 15 mm spacer (approx just slightly smaller than 5/8")
I just put a set of 2008 C6 "Gumby" wheels on my 02 ZO6 yesterday. The 79mm offset is too far inboard without any spacers. I put a 1/4" spacer just to get them bolted up to see how I liked them on the car. In reality they will require about a 1/2"-5/8" spacer to be in the correct position. I am building a set of 5/8" hubcentric spacers at work this week and will have to change out the studs for longer ones. Once thats done everything should look right.
I wanted to try this new style C6 wheel since seeing them on the 08-09 Vettes. Just something a little different than the norm. Here are some pics I took this evening. This will give an idea of how they sit with a 1/4" spacer. I will post some more pics once the 5/8" spacers are on.
