Not too hard if you have the tools and jacks/stands. You have to get the rear up about 3ft unless you cut each side at least twice.
I like saving the money and I feel like its good bonding time with the vette. The tips are a pain to line up but I have seen some shops not take the time to do it right where I dont mind taking the time to do a job right the first time.
Search around for a good writeup on this subject (I found two when I did mine two years ago). At least you can use the writeup to show a shop the right way to do the install.
As long as you can get the car up high enough in the air or don't mind cutting the stock exhaust, it's really not all that hard to do. If you don't want to cut the exhaust, and don't have a SAFE way to get the car up about 3 feet, take it to a shop.
Did mine with a club member.
Jacked it up in the driveway.
To get the rear end high enough we had to put the front wheels on ramps.
We made a extension for the top of my floor jack.
It was a sandwhich of a 4x4 in the middle with a 2x6 screwed to either side. When inserted between the jack and the rear saddle we had just enough lift to get the stock system out in one piece.
A high lift to be sure... but we went slow and carefully.
We simply parked it in his garage which has a rather steep drive going into it with the rearend of the car "hanging" out of the garage over the steep part of the driveway. This allowed us access to the exhaust system, which we cut off (oem) and installed the corsa system. The basic oem system is worth little to nothing so cutting it was no big deal. Corsa comes in pieces so install was a breeze! Good luck! Ron

Did mine this way as well.... with the front wheels on the ramps it made it easier to get the rear up higher... Just do it slow and safe...
YOU Can Do IT!!!
They must be boat launches I agree who the hell would buy those houses????
You didn't say if you have a Z06 or not, if you have a Titanium exhaust I would not cut it off. Use a friends lift or pay CarX to install it. They normally charge 75.00, hardly worth the risk of getting crushed under your car with jack stands. David
