Vipers are cool looking cars, even the old models and in green. Not for me though.

you guys are just not seeing past the nasty wheels.
If that car had a nice set of HREs with huge lips it would look stunning.
RT/10s are not ugly cars, just barely different than GTSs and then you have the same argument with non removable top vs targa.

Very nice cars both. I love Vipers as you can tell

Last week I saw an older black one that was mint and sweet but I still liked my Vette better.

You will hate it. I don't even think the Gen 1s have things like airbags, a/c, or radio... not to mention interior noise, heat, and burning your leg every time you get out. They are also pretty slow compared to the newer ones. Sounds soft.

1996+ GTS or nothing.

Next time try trading rides-you'll be happy you have the C5. The Viper is about as civilized and comfortable as my Superformance Cobra.

Believe it or not, that Viper is quite a collectible, especially in that color emerald green. If I'm not mistaken, they only had that color for a very short time at the beginning of the 92/93 model year. They had problems matching the color to various parts of the car. The front didn't match the doors or the deck lid, etc. So they scrapped trying to produce Vipers in that color. I would say that will make it more of a collectible than most any other color that they made Vipers in. If I won the big Lotto game, I would buy a few Vipers in their new hideous colors for this year. Chances are the Viper will be bitting the dust shortly....I think they only sold 450 last year, and with the new companies future plans, it won't be around much longer.

Im still not sure on a year but I know I dont care for the new body style at all. Here in Oklahoma they are pretty rare ( cant find more than a few at dealers) so I will drive a few before buying but things like noise , etc would be thought about long and hard. What was the last year of the cool body stlye?
Thanks Steve
