[Z06] who would win?
!. Race him for fun and see where you stand
the m5 is at 500+100= 600 for the supercharger but thats a big guess
so that would be about
z06 290HPish per ton
m5 300HPish per ton
if it was my money i would take 600ish $ and get some juice and toast his a$$
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
To begin with, both vehicles in stock trim are not too far from one another! Advantage going to the ZO6 for weight, advantage for the
M5 on power. Second, I am not aware of one single company that even offers a supercharger kit for the E60 M5. I am a very active member on Www.Bimmerforums.Com and have yet to hear of this company! Unless Active Autowerks, Alpina, Dinan, VF etc., have come out with one that I am not aware of, I would demand to see this alleged S/C kit on that V10! Even if, this kit exists, it's going to be a low PSI setting, depending on the pully size, an additional 50-85 RWHP can be seen. I would suspect, an E60 M5 dynoing around 445-455 RWP stock, with the addition of the supercharger, taking the highest figure of 85 RWHP, your looking at a vehicle with roughly 535-540 RWHP. Don't forget M5's are very heavy and are currently offered in SMG only, I wouldn't count the ZO6 out just yet!

Your car with slicks and 100 shot will definitely win.
The key is the tires and hard launch. The stock tires won't hook up enough, and the M5 has a traction advantage. You'll get killed with the stock tires with or without a 100 shot. Put slicks on though, and the M5 no longer has a traction advantage.

do you have good tires? like dr.s

that should work..
