C6 Hurst shifter in a C5???

Will a C6 Hurst shifter work in a C5?? I know the stock ones interchange

It'll mount up and work fine...the only difference might be in the lever being slightly angled...

Any oem or after market C5/Z06 or C6/Z06 six speed manual shifter from '97 to '07 will interchange. They all mount the same.
I'm not including the '08 because I understand there were some changes, but I don't know what those were.
The only difference between any of the above is the manner to mount the ****, the boot, and the length and angle of the lever. The after market may also have interchangeable springs, and shift stops which the oem do not have.
