Put the extra money you would pay for the Supra into your vette and have 700 hp to do dougnuts in a parkinglot.

I looked into it and with the money it takes it go fast it just isn't worth it.

There isn't one 700rwhp street driven supra running pump gas. If he is then he ain't 700rwhp until he puts in the 109. That was my biggest hangup.

They put in the good stuff, rip off a great dyno, then turn it back down for the pump fuel. Funny part is they still yap yap yap about having a 700rwhp car when as it sits it may be 500rwhp if that.

For the money, just do some boltons like intake, LTs, exhaust and throw a 150 shot on your car. Then you'll be 500+ on 91 octane and fast enough to kill yourself at 20 lol.

I love supras, and like you said every Joe Shmoe, his Mom and her dog have vettes, I've only seen one supra this year so far. If you can afford it go for it, it'd be fun for a bit then if you decided you wanted another vette they are easy to find and will be cheap. I say go for it, I'm sure you won't regret it.

Look Supras are cool. I like them the best of all the ricers. But I am pretty sure a heavily modded vette can hang with a heavily modded Supra. If its for drifting or something then yeah Supra all the way. But I say get the Supra, have some fun with it, there will always be tons of vette's for cheap. But mark my words...You will buy another vette. But at your age cars are like women...you should try out a few and find the one that is best for you. Good luck!

Supras are bad for sure but take a look over at the F/I section and you'll see what some SICK a$$ Vettes are all about.

My Friend has a Supra, It was a Twin Turbo and then he changed it to a big single Turbo.. YES its FAST as HELL.. His top Dyno was something like 800RWHP.. He runs LOW boost on the Street.. Around 500 HP or something.. Its only a little faster than my slightly moded Z06on street trim. His car spends more time in the Shop than the Street!! He has spent $$$ Over $90K I Believe.... Just my two Cents..

Since youre only 20, its probably a good idea to talk to your insurance agent. The vette at your age will be expensive to insure, but the Supra will probably be a monster.
