can i run 245/40/17 and 295/35/18 together without any speed sensor problems ?

You won't have any problem, I ran the stock 245/45/17 in front and toward the end of the season I put a set of drag radial that where 305/35/18 with no speed sensor issues.

Yes

That gives you about a 1.4" difference, where the car is designed for roughly 1"

I can't see that being a problem

The Z06 uses 265/40/17 for front tires on a 17x9.5 front rim, I'm presently using a 18x9.5 front rim with a 275/35/18 front tire, fits perfectly with no problem.

same thing but "20"
can i run 245/30/20 and 285/30/20 together without any speed sensor problems ?
or is 245/35/20 and 285/30/20 best choice?
