I bought a new C6 Z-06 in February of this year, but kept both my C5s (99 Coupe & 99 Convertible) as they were both paid for....I havent driven either C5 since buying the Z-06 and actually thought about selling one or both of them a few days ago.....That was until I took the convertible out for a drive today....Dont get me wrong...The POWER of my new "Z" is unbelievable.....and those fender flares spell B-A-D-A-S-S!!....but there's "something" about that C5 Convertible...With the top down you get that wind in your hair (what's left of it in my case) and you definitely dont get that in a Z-06...With the top up looks like it's "chopped"...(I lowered both my C5s too)...It looks SO DAMN COOL!!!!...Next Sunday I'll take my C5 Coupe out for a drive and see if it passes the "keep it or sell it" test.....It has a 1500 watt custom sound system.....something my Z-06 doesnt have....I have a feeling I'll talk myself into keeping it too!!!

I agree. I don't see a C6 in my future.
We'll see about the C7?
Oh, and something about these two tuition bills we have going right now doesn't help either.

I wish I had the cash to keep my C5 like you did when the warranty is up and the car paid off, but I will most likely trade up

Huh?

That would have made it far worse. I would rather see his nice wheels than the crown of a set of tires. What are you thinking?

?? Ok maybe you didn't see the first picture he was talking about. It does show just the front tire and no wheel other than the back one

I agree, I like the looks of the C5 better and I have driven two C6s and they did not show me enough to justify the trade-up cost. Although since I have a Nassau Blue, I was impressed with the new Jet Stream Blue and the 2008 improvements.

For now, I'll keep my C5.

Not to change the subject... Junkman, how did you do on the track that day? Once upon a time, I had family that worked Churchill Downs.
