People, there are idiots in every race, every class, every city, & every country. You can't judge an ENTIRE city, much less an ENTIRE RACE OF PEOPLE by the actions of a few jackasses. Pre-judging individual people before you get to know them is just lazy & ignorant. We can all do better....

I understand what your sayin, but nobody here is being a racist or discriminating. We just hate seeing the car that we treat better than ourselves in the hands of ghetto superstars who treat it like they have something better in the their garage, or on their front lawn. either hes a drug dealer, rapper, or its stolen.

At the job I work for, the entry level position is enough to afford a C5, and there are plenty of young people such as myself that can buy one, so you assuming that they cannot assume that vehicle legally because of their actions in this video IS racist.

I didn't put much emphasis on what religion, race, or whether the driver owned the car or stole it. I felt bad that there was no respect whatsoever for the car at all. I guess this group feels the same as the folks in here that say from time to time "It's just a car". It's NOT just a car, it's an icon and America's sports car. The Corvette is something to be proud of, where it's built (here), who built it (Americans), whether it's YOUR'S or someone else's. I'm sure the car survived it's abuse, but what about the next time, or the time after that? OK, I'll go take a nap now.

Suggesting that all black people support Obama (presumably because he's black), and therefore will be celebrating when he's president lumps an entire race into one category, as if all Black people share the same outlook. That, to me, is ignorant and narrow-minded. Besides, how do you know what that guy does for a living? I drive a Vette, & I'm black. If I go out and do some doughnuts, are the only options I have are rapper, drug dealer, or car thief? Theres a video ON THIS VERY FORUM of a white kid doing the same thing in a Supra & a Mustang, and nobody said he was a drug dealer or a rapper. Nobody said he was ghetto, brain-dead, or hadn't evolved as a human, either. I'm not suggesting that what was going on in either video was smart, much less legal, I'm just noticing that there is a HUGE double standard, for pretty much the same dumb stunt. That smacks of racism. Do you see what I'm saying?

Sure, the guy doing the burnout coulda killed someone, but the members of that crowd appear to be willing participants in that event. The families sharing the roads with our drunk drivers are not.

This bothers me alot because, I just dont understand why they act like that!?Im a black male raised through the military life. My family did a lot of traveling when I was a kid, it wasnt until I came back to the U.S. and saw how black people acted so different then what I was brought up in

A$$holes come in many shapes and colors. No one race has a franchise on that as witnessed by some of the embarrasing posts in this thread. I'm still sometimes amazed at how subliminal racism is in this country by people who don't even realize it much less those that practice it intentionally.
