So, what do you do for a living?
I apologize, I am brand new to the forum and a brand new C5 owner and I kind of barged in the forums head first with questions. Which, by the way, were answered incredibly fast! I just wanted to try to shoot the bull and see if we have anything else in common. I am an ex-airline pilot and now I fly corporate for Sanderson Farms ( so eat more chicken, so I can buy some rims 
). I am a captain on the, you guessed it, Learjet 31 and the Gulfstream. There is just something about airplanes and corvettes that I have always loved. Lord help us all if they ever develope a Corvette jet! I truly appreciate you guys taking the time to help all of us new guys!!

Welcome to the forum! I'm active duty in the Navy going to Medical School in MD. My little bro's also a pilot, currently training with Republic to be a FO in St. Louis flying Embraer 170 and 175's.

First of all....DONT let my Avatar fool you..Im on the correct side of the Corvette Forum.....Im a C5 owner and LOVER...(99 Coupe and 99 Convertible....both black) in addition to my new Z-06 (black of course)....also have a black 2000 Harley Softtail NightTrain and a black LS2 powered 2005 SSR....... I finally sold my daily driver, black 93 GMC 4x4 and bought a WHITE 04 Chevy 4x4....The black on a daily driver was just too hard to keep clean!!!...Wife also sold her daily driver, black 2000 ZR2 Blazer and bought a burgundy 2002 Monte Carlo SS...the burgundy is a lot easier to keep clean than the black, believe it or not.......You could say WE LOVE BLACK.....and GM!!!....We've never owned a foreign car and never will...
Anyway, Im a police officer just entering my 30th year on the job...All with the same department......I have 5 years to go before I retire at age 55...thus the new Z-06...(I needed an incentive to work another 5 years....believe me...that payment is an INCENTIVE!!!!)....Im also an ASE certified auto-mechanic...and musician (drummer)
My wife is an EMS/police/fire dispatcher at the same department for the past 15 years...
Kids are GONE....Now it's OUR TIME!!!
