I just got a 2000 Vette, its got some bugs to get out and one of them is that the dual climate conrtol will blow ice cold on the passenger side and will just blow out ambient air on the driver side, no matter what its set on.
From: PHOENIX, AZ Yes, it's true. You are a good woman. Then again, you may be the Antichrist.
You may need to re-index the actuator doors. Others have found that an incorrect charge of the ac can cause your symptoms. A search will show numerous threads with ideas and advice. For example...http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...index+actuator
Mine had similar symptoms, but the air wasn't "ice" cold on the passenger side, just cool. A recharge fixed it temporarily, but now mine doesn't blow cold at all, so I have a leak to track down.
had same issue with 2001 vette , heat-an-a/c worked driver side , but only cool air, on rider side , only did that 4 a few months then one day amazingly , it started working like it was engineered ... maybe those midnite donuts did the trick !.... peace

i have no codes for the HVAC......thoughts?
thanks-justin
Been there , done that !
It is true it could be an actuator door issue , but go to wal mart first and get you a refregerant can with an indicator gauge built in it , $ 15 at most , and charge your system until the needle is in the normal zone or until you feel the same cold air on both side of the vehicle . charge it from the cold side , engine running , ac running as well .
Common issue related to the Driver side airmix door stuck on the full warm side. Try pulling the HVAC fuses and let the system reinitialize and try to reset the actuator door limits. It's the easiest and first thing to do.
