Paint Question
Im new to the c5 world, in my past experience with c3/c4- there was always a high priced paint issue. 4k-5k to repaint a car. Im not looking to repaint, just paint a spoiler. Im a novice painter, not bad, but not a pro. What is so special about a fiberglass part after the primer?

To re-paint a C5 properly, the car must be disassembled and painted in pieces. Therefore a proper re-paint is about $6K on our cars.
An individual piece isn't terrible, but you have to match the paint perfectly and know how to blend it to the rest of the car which is beyond me in skill.

No difference. And 4-5K to paint an entire car is NOT alot of $$$. Go get a pint of base color and a pint of clear (reducer and hardener too). Probably set you back a couple hundred since some of this you can't buy in small quantities.
