I just switch the 1 in 19 to a 2, hence, 2008 Car of the Year, I mean as long as C6 has no claim to a "Motor Trends Car of the Year" title.

Honestly, based alot on comments from strangers, I truly believe TIME will be very kind to the C5 in Corvette History.

The C5 is a classic,IMHO,it has everything going for it, including C5 Corvette Racing Team started to DOMINATE foriegn competition.

Yeah, unless the C7 just is out of this world, the C5 stands pat !

There is a reason a lot of people called the C6 a C5 and a half when it first came out. The C6 took everything about the C5 and just tried to impove upon it. The C6 is hardly what You could call revolutionary, but the C5 on the other hand was a huge step forward in Corvette history.

I may buy a C6 someday, but the C5 isn't leaving my garage.
